Expert-comptable, commissaire aux comptes, Jean-Pierre Letartre a rejoint le cabinet d’audit Ernst & Young en 1985 avant d’être nommé Président et CEO du groupe en 2008. Il y impulse une nouvelle dynamique en intégrant les nouvelles technologies dans l’offre de services et engage une profonde transformation des modes de management. Très impliqué dans la promotion de l’entrepreneuriat en France, il prend la direction du Centre des jeunes dirigeants (CJD) du Nord en 1989. En 1993, il crée le prix de l’Entrepreneur de l’année et en 1996, l’Académie des entrepreneurs, dédiée à l’échange entre les dirigeants d’entreprises. Il publie en 1999 un premier livre intitulé “Qu'attendez-vous pour entreprendre ?”, avant de rédiger en 2006 avec le MEDEF “L’ambition de grandir, paroles d’entrepreneurs”. Il co-fonde en 2007 Citizen entrepreneurs, une association à rayonnement mondial qui organise chaque année le G20 des entrepreneurs. Il entre ensuite au conseil exécutif en 2013 et anime le projet France 2020 pour dessiner les perspectives de notre économie. Dans sa fonction de dirigeant d’une grande entreprise internationale, Jean-Pierre Letartre a toujours eu à cœur d'impulser une vision nouvelle de la responsabilité sociale, et mis en place de nombreuses mesures sur les plans de l'environnement, de la diversité et de l’égalité femmes-hommes. Sa connaissance approfondie du monde entrepreneurial, son investissement sociétal et régional avec la présidence du Comité Grand Lille offrent à Jean-Pierre Letartre un poste d'observation privilégié de l'activité économique de notre territoire. Il est aussi président d’Entreprise et Cités, du Groupe IRD. C’est donc tout naturellement qu’il succède à Philippe VASSEUR et prend en janvier 2019 la présidence de Réseau Alliances, le réseau d’entrepreneurs de croissance responsable des Hauts-de-France et du World Forum for a Responsible Economy.

A chartered accountant and statutory auditor, Jean-Pierre Letartre joined the audit firm Ernst & Young in 1985 before being appointed Chairman and CEO of the group in 2008. He gave a new impetus to the firm by integrating new technologies into the service initiating a profound transformation of management methods. Very involved in the promotion of entrepreneurship in France, he took over the management of the Centre des jeunes dirigeants (CJD) du Nord in 1989. In 1993, he created the Entrepreneur of the Year award and in 1996, the Academy of Entrepreneurs, dedicated to the exchange between business leaders. In 1999, he published a first book entitled "Qu'attendez-vous pour entreprendre?", before writing "L'ambition de grandir, paroles d'entrepreneurs" in 2006 with the MEDEF. In 2007, he co-founded Citizen Entrepreneurs, an association with a global reach that organizes the annual G20 entrepreneurs' meeting. In 2013, he joined the executive board of the MEDEF and led the France 2020 project, which aims to define the future of our economy. In his role as head of a major international company, Jean-Pierre Letartre has always been keen to promote a new vision of social responsibility, and has implemented numerous measures in the areas of the environment, diversity and gender equality. His in-depth knowledge of the entrepreneurial world, his social and regional investment with the presidency of the Grand Lille Committee give Jean-Pierre Letartre a privileged position to observe the economic activity of our territory. He is also president of Entreprise et Cités and Groupe IRD. It is therefore quite natural that he succeeds Philippe VASSEUR and takes over the presidency of Réseau Alliances, the network of responsible growth entrepreneurs in Hauts-de-France and the World Forum for a Responsible Economy in January 2019.
