Biographie

Alexandre Lagny, 54 ans, vient d’être nommé directeur régional de Veolia Recyclage et Valorisation en Hauts-de-France. Cet ingénieur en Génie Civil diplômé de l’École Centrale Paris a intégré il y a près de 30 ans le leader mondial français de la transformation écologique. En 1993, il entre chez Veolia France pour 2 ans, puis oriente sa carrière à l’international, principalement sur les métiers de l’eau : d’abord l’Argentine, le Mexique, la Hongrie, puis l’Australie en tant que directeur régional Nouvelle-Galles du Sud (Sydney), avant de prendre les rênes de Veolia Nouvelle Zélande en 2018. Pour son retour en France, Alexandre Lagny a choisi les Hauts-de-France : il succède ainsi à Aurélie Lapidus, nommée à la direction financière de Veolia Water Technologies.

Alexandre Lagny, 54, has just been appointed Regional Director of Veolia Recycling and Recovery in the Hauts-de-France region. He is a Civil Engineering graduate of the École Centrale Paris who joined the French world leader in ecological transformation nearly 30 years ago. In 1993, he joined Veolia France for two years, then focused his career on international operations, mainly in the water sector: first Argentina, Mexico, Hungary, then Australia as Regional Director for New South Wales (Sydney), before taking over the reins of Veolia New Zealand in 2018. For his return to France, Alexandre Lagny has chosen Hauts-de-France: he succeeds Aurélie Lapidus, who has been appointed to the Finance Department of Veolia Water Technologies.
